Marketplace nature

InventorySpread is a two-sided marketplace and brokerage. We connect advertisers with B2B newsletter operators and broker the bookings. We are not the publisher of any newsletter listed in the directory and we are not a party to the campaign itself once booked. The advertiser and the newsletter operator are the principals; we are the intermediary.

No investment, financial, or media-buying advice

The audience numbers, CPMs, niche tags, and any commentary surfaced in the directory or in broker emails are research aids, not professional media- buying advice. Estimated campaign outcomes are not a guarantee of return on ad spend. Decisions about which slot to book, at what price, with what creative, are yours and the newsletter operator’s.

Pricing accuracy

Audience numbers and CPM estimates in the directory are pulled from self-reported listings (for owner-listed newsletters) and from public rate-card pages (for scanner-seeded newsletters). They can be stale or materially wrong. We re-vet listings periodically but we do not warrant accuracy at any particular moment. Always confirm the live slot price in the broker quote we send before approving a booking.

Broker fee disclosure

When we broker a deal we take a fee of 10–20% of the slot price (default 15%). The fee is disclosed on every quote before booking. The newsletter operator receives the slot price minus the fee. There are no other charges anywhere on the platform.

Affiliate disclosure

Some outbound links on this site are affiliate links. If you sign up for a product through one, we may earn a commission at no cost to you. Every affiliate placement carries an inline disclosure label. Affiliate links are independent of the brokerage; we do not let affiliate relationships steer which newsletters surface in matches.

Payments

Money settles per deal, manually, between the advertiser and the newsletter or via Wise / Polar one-time forwarded by Northtide minus the fee. We do not hold funds in escrow. Refunds and dispute handling are governed by the terms agreed between the advertiser and the newsletter; we will mediate in good faith on request.

Third-party content

Newsletter names, logos, and audience statistics appearing in the directory are the property of their respective operators. Listing in the directory does not imply endorsement of InventorySpread by any newsletter operator unless expressly stated.
